UA Energy Auditor

The UA Energy Audit Certification Program utilizes a variety of resources and material to provide a structured format for conducting energy audits.

The program is designed for facilitating energy audits on residential, commercial and industrial type of buildings. The course and certification utilizes a combination of classroom lectures and hands on practical skill set training for those who may be performing energy audit work.

The UA Energy Audit Certification Program may be instructed utilizing two different formats. Individuals who currently have the UA Green Systems Awareness Certification and the UA HVACR Star Certification can participate in the UA Energy Audit course in a 40-hour instructional format. Individuals who do not currently have the UA Green Systems Awareness Certification and the UA HVACR Star Certification will be required to attend the UA Energy Audit course in a minimum 80-hour instructional format. This is based on the amount of pre-course knowledge that is required for participating in the UA Energy Audit course. This information will be verified prior to individuals being authorized to sign up for the written examination.
