ALL NITC Braze Test Documentation should be downloaded for each braze session. Follow the information contained within the Braze Test Specification and the NITC’s Braze Qualification Video. Complete the required Brazer Qualification Record (BQR) for each braze.

Continuity of initial and additional braze qualifications are maintained by Continuity Form for Brazer. Braze qualifications remain in effect indefinitely; however, a lapse in continuity will require re-qualification.

Performance qualifications of brazers shall remain in effect indefinitely, unless the brazer does not braze with the specific process for a period exceeding 6 months. Brazing is maintained through submission of Continuity. Expired braze certification may be extended 6 months by requalification.

Submittal of brazing continuity form prior to the expiration date. Braze certification will be extended six months from the date of most recent brazement. If the braze has not been performed on or before the expiration date the braze certification must be renewed by requalification.

NOTICE: For a limited time, NITC will be waiving all adoption fees for the 18-R78 Qualified Braze Procedure Specification to Manufacturers, Contractors and Training Entities*, to be used in conjunction with the R78 Braze Certification. * Training Entity will need the cooperation of a Manufacturer or Contractor to supervise each test session.
NITC Online Braze Continuity Submittal. 
Only an authorized representative of an employer or contractor may submit proof that the brazer has used the brazing process within a six (6) month period. If you are not authorized, you will cause the brazers certification to be declared invalid.
A copy of the “Record of Brazer Qualification” (form # 720-21) must be kept by the employer or contractor.
